@Emily Paul here the best places for short term would be on the East End by the universities and hospitals, North Shore by the sports stadiums/AGH, or right across the river from Downtown/Oakland like South Side and Mt.

Since I was still in a wheelchair back then I got to sit on the front row at an EricClapton concert at the stadium where the Mavericks play.Since inventory is down right now and prices tend to be high do not be in a hurry.
