Not to mention that the 203k Consultant's Identity of Interest Certification form that 203k Consultants sign on every 203k project prevents them from having any identity of interest or conflict of interest with anyone involved in the 203k they are working on, and a direct referral of a contractor can be a conflict of interest.

Just ask the loan officer to make sure they don't have some oddball overlay that would prevent it and go forward.
