My biggest reason to keep my eye on Detroit is the recent legalization of rec marijuana.

And the marijuana cards ones are way over in number compared to the 'I buy ugly house'.

Imagine the background check coming back with:"a lengthy criminal record with prior arrests on allegations of assault, disorderly conduct, destruction of property, resisting arrest, theft, public intoxication, and possession of marijuana"I've applied for CCW.

I find it to be therapeutic and a learning experience. 

Or city currently permits medical marijuana retail and will likely be approving recreation by the end of May 2020. 

Although oil plays a very large role in the Alberta economy, the main cities of Calgary and Edmonton have been doing a lot of work to try and diversify their economy via attracting tech companies, the booming marijuana sector, as well as health care, post-secondary education etc.

They implemented this when marijuana was legalized and they say growing cycles are 3-months and they want to ensure they are not happening in the properties.
