Homeowner's insurance in Houston area

I currently own 2 rental properties , one in Crosby, TX and the other in Kingwood , TX. Our homeowner's policies are for those two home's as well as our personal home. We also have car insurance through the same "group". Our cost is $2300 a year for both rentals, considering what we paid for these homes these costs are way high. Does anyone have an insurance company they would recommend that may be less?

I use Allstate for 4 of my properties that are owned personally. My premiums average around 1/3% of the policy limits. They offer a pretty decent Landlord policy with $1,000 deductibles with $500k liability.
