Can I list property under contract on MLS
Hello everyone! I'm relatively new to investing, and so far I've closed one wholesale deal. I decided to wholesale until I had a little capital of my own to take on other projects. I currently have another property under contract in Richmond, Va that I'm looking to assign. It's an off-market property that is newly renovated in a wonderful area (Brauers neighborhood, few blocks north of Church Hill North). I believe it's an awesome opportunity to serve as a buy and hold rental, but for whatever reason I cannot find a buyer. Am I able to get an agent to list the property on the MLS if I only have it under contract?? In the contract I have a clause that grants me the right to market the property. Once again, this property is located in Virginia. Thanks everyone!

@Jamell Kitt It really depends on your state, and what the real estate board allows, as far a listing a wholesale deal on the MLS.
But another place to look for local buyer's in Richmond, would be in the local board in BP for Richmond. Since that'll give you some idea of who's in your area. Here is the link to that forum: https://www.biggerpockets.com/...
Also another free option to find buyers, is to go into Zillow for your area, zoom into the area/neighborhood where the house is located and search for nice rehabbed homes that have sold in the last 60 days. Then go to the county assessor with those addresses, to find out who the rehabber was, and reach out to them. Since if they just sold a rehabbed home in the last 60 days, they are probably looking for their next project in the area.
