Wholesaling: LEGAL OR NOT!!

I have notice a recurring problem when I talk to some folks about wholesaling. The question "isn't that illegal?" comes up alot. I think its time to clear the air!!

MY OPINION: there wouldn't be a blog with thousands of people talking about wholesaling real estate if it were Illegal...

Is driving illegal? Depends, if you follow the speed limit, obtain a license, and follow all the rules involved, then no, it is not. But if you speed or drive without a license, it is.

Point is, wholesaling is NOT illegal, but some people can wholesale illegally.
Anyone who says "you cant do that" or "that is illegal" likely does not know what they are talking about.

If you wholesale properly, it is legal, end of story.
