Anybody done a wholesale deal in Dallas?
Hi,
I'm looking for someone well-versed in the "closing-procedure" part of a wholesale deal. I understand how to develop leads, I also understand how to negotiate, talk to and take the utmost care of customers (sellers). I've never closed a deal at a Title Office (besides my own house, but all I remember is coming in, sitting down and signing papers, whole process took < 5 min. I am curious about Title Companies and if anyone in Dallas has a favorite one. And if they are able to do a double closing, (but on the other hand I talked to a successful Wholesaler on the phone a few days ago, he said "I've never double-closed, and I never will, its a waste, because you're just giving your money away, essentially paying 2x Closing Costs... I didn't think to ask him to elaborate, he was also on the road when we spoke so, I didn't want to take up a lot of his time, I was more focused on listening.) Thoughts on Double-Closing, and alternatives?
Also, didn't know if people still do the whole "Under The Wing-Thing" but if they do, and one of those people happens to read this, I am hoping to find someone who would let me listen to a live-call with a seller and/or buyer, and possibly pick your brain about the Anatomy of a Wholesale CLOSING. Maybe some hang-ups or snags you've hit along the way. I want to be prepared and make a good name for myself and eventually my company.
