If you live far away from your target area to acquire properties, what are some of the best ways to reach potential homeowners about buying their properties?

We've already given you some ideas. Here's another - go to http://www.netronline.com/public_records.htm. Pick a state and then a city or county you want to target. Find the tax assessor's website. Then if you have a map of the area, you can search houses by street. Look at the owners mailing address. If it's different than the property address, then you found a landlord. Start a postcard marketing campaign to them. Or, you can market to all homeowners, depending on your criteria.
