Wholesaling Coaching Guidance
Hello,
I am considering purchasing a wholesaling mentor and I'm excited about the opportunity but I feel that it's a lot of money. Is 5K for a wholesaling mentor a lot? too much? cheap?
To get a mentor is it normal to have to pay a price like that or would I be better off going to my local REIA meetings and meeting people that way?
I'm looking at using wholesaling as a jumpstart to getting cash and creating rental income as a REI.
Any help and guidance would be appreciated!

I am right there with you, trying to learn wholesaling so I can purchase more rental properties. I'm not paying for coaching or mentoring. I just went to a newbie wholesaling meetup and met some great people. I will try to birddog, or bring people leads for a fee, or do JV (joint ventures) with experienced wholesalers before I pay for mentoring. I've heard some people say that paying for a mentor was worth it. If I had $5k to pay for mentoring, I'd rather spend it on marketing stuff like letters or business cards, gas for driving for dollars, or a new MacBook Pro for my business.
I listen to Real Estate investing podcasts all day. There is a lot of great free info out there. If you like podcasts check out Tucker Merrihew on his Podcast, The Real Dealz Podcasts. Start from the beginning. He has a lot of great info and advice on wholesaling.
