Northern New Jersey Probate Leads
Hi, does anyone have any experience with getting probate leads from Northern NJ. I am having trouble looking for them online. Does that mean I have to visit the court house?

I finally found them. Every county is different which is frustrating but you have to go to the courthouse. Not everyone will know what you are talking about (or even care to listen) but you have to go to the surrogates court. In Essex county all the info are on individual micro films that you have to put each file under one of the tv looking things for the document to be enlarged. Very old school. But the great thing about them not being easy to access is that no one is really doing it. I can spend hours at the court house and get maybe a hundred leads. It's not easy, especially since they do not allow you to take pictures of the documents on the screen, you have to write each name and address down. Like I said, the bigger of a pain it is, the less competition.
