Getting Probate Leads

Hello I just moved to Los Angeles California and I'm looking to get the ball rolling with real estate. I've read many discussions on how to generate leads but I can't figure out how to get probate lists. I went on the LA county website to request these leads but, it says that I need to put down names to get this list. If I knew the names then things would get a whole lot easier. If anyone with more experience would like to help a newbie like me then it would be highly appreciated.

Hi Alan - I looked into probates about a year ago.  I believe in order to get the info I had to go into the probate court, get on one of their computers, and get info printed out.  I also would have to look in each file to see if there was property in the case.

I'd recommend looking up Paul Horn, he does seminars that are very good.  You can also pay to get weekly emails of new probate cases.  For me it was worth paying to get those leads because it's so time consuming to get them on my own
