My First Mailing and Only 4 Responses

I recently sent out my first batch of 1100+ Yellow Letters to begin my wholesaling business. I have only received 4 phone calls and only 2 of those left messages. It's been about 4 days since most people should've received their letters. I was hoping to get a much better response.

I mailed to Washington state properties in Pierce, King and Thurston counties... Absentee owned in-state and out-of-state (excluding trustees & corporations) with 50% or more equity.

Not sure why I wouldn't have gotten a better response. HELP!! Any suggestions are appreciated.

Real motivated seller calls are EXPENSIVE to generate. I am baffled when people invest their hard-earned money into marketing and then they don't answer their phone (or immediately call back hang-ups). Baffled.

Recently did an internal study on this and found one client where 80% of his incoming calls were hang-ups because they were getting to the PERSONAL VOICE MAIL of one of the junior guys on his team. People called, heard the message and CLICK. We recently put out a free marketing video on right and wrong ways to handle incoming calls:
