Wholesaler and Realtor working together?

Question

Hi All - not sure if this was asked already, my apologies if it was.

Im new to wholesaling and BP and was wondering....

How can a realtor help a wholesaler and vice versa.  I want to get a realtor on my team and what are the costs?

I agree. Being an investor myself gives me a perspective of great value to my investor clients. Hoping some exposure on BP will connect me with wholesalers looking for cash buyers! No commission on the sale required.

Realtors are great for leveraging their list of investors/cash buyers. I only prefer dealing with "investor minded" Realtors though. They can bring you buyers for your deals and they can also give you access to MLS to run your own comps.

Luckily for me, though, I am also licensed.

A realtor can help you by pulling comparable properties to give an ARV on a property you might be interested in. Also, they can pull listings, expired listings, and cash transactions for you.

You need to make sure when you find a good realtor that you help them too. Try to make sure that you run some deals through them so they don't feel like you are using them just for comps and listings.

Realtor fees are typically 6% of any property they list for you or that you buy. The total 6% commission is divided between any realtors involved. If you have a realtor and are buying a property, and the seller of the property has one, they each get 3%.
