best wholesale tactics???

Jackson Neu
Posted

I'm new to this whole process and just trying to wrap my head around the practice of wholesale. my question is in regards to finding buyers, what are the best practices?? my initial thoughts are to put a TON of hours into assembling a large pool of potential buyers, mostly investors,  and getting detailed information of what parameters they have for the properties they want. my goal with this would be to contact the best potential buyers when I put a home under contract and hold something of a private auction (I don't know if this is even possible or the legality of it) and simply wholesale to the highest bidder.

is this a reasonable working plan? what other wholesale strategies are there? any help would be greatly appreciated!
