Legal Help Interpreting Zoning

Well, its very unfortunate that there aren't any posts in this forum. :( maybe I didn't have my filter set correctly.

I am looking for someone who can help me understand zoning laws. I am looking at building a glamping site however, it would be located in a flood zone. I have looked into the 100 year flood height and a lot of other things that I could find from watching hours of videos and spending many many more hours trying to navigate the counties website, the DNR, and FEMA.

Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated.

Daniel

Hey Daniel,

Shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to chat. Just know that not only with their be flood regulations, but you likely be subject to zoning restrictions depending on the location of the glamping site. In general, any permanent structure will require elevation above the base flood elevation identified on the FEMA flood map. And no structures can be placed in the the Floodway.
