Looking to do house hacking

Efrain Flores
Posted

Hello, I've been looking to purchase in the KC area because I might be relocating this summer. I was considering buying a duplex, but it seems like a 15% downpayment is required. Is there another option? This will be my first time buying a property.

Hey @Efrain Flores - If you haven't already, connect with an investor-friendly lender in KC. As a first-time home buyer you have many options to work with including the FHA loan others have mentioned. Depending on your situation, you might qualify for downpayment assistance and/or other grants for first-time home buyers.

Good luck with that first house hack, it will change your life and future!
