NYC Mentor

New to BP and Real Estate investing. I am looking to align myself with an investor in the New York City area. Preferably someone who has worked with subject to's and contract assignments as well as traditional rental properties. I have spoke with a few of these "gurus" that have programs in place to get you started but I'm haveing a hard time verifying their legitmacy. As well as justifying the cost associated with such a program. What is the best way to find people will to mentor or at least sit down for drink and talk shop.

Hey Greg Gallucci,

Welcome to BP. This is a great place to network and find people that help you with moving forward in your investing. I would suggest you find your local REIA (Real Estate Investors Association) and join. Another suggestion would be to attend the NY Estate Expo in October that would be a great networking opportunity for you. www.nycreexpo.com
