It's been so quiet here! What has everyone been up to?

Here's my last month or so..

1) Renovations on my Waterloo properties continue. I'm getting them into tiptop shape before putting them on the market. I found some great general labour to assist in the renos, saving me a lot of time.

2) I've attended a few REI group meetings. The awesome one hosted by Gary and some small meetings between like minded friends. These events have been very useful. If you haven't been out to your local REI's meeting, I encourage you to go.

3) I meet up with someone who has been investing in the states. They've got a great team established and it's got me looking down south for investment opportunities as well.

4) Reading! I've been going through a bunch of non-real estate investment books and seeing how they can apply to my business. My favs have been The 4 Hour Workweek and The Lean Startup.

So what has everyone else been up to?
