Storage Tenant issues
I have a storage tenant I’m trying to evict. Multiple issues, so I terminated lease 30 days ago but he’s still got stuff in my barn storage unit and is dragging feet to get it out. Judge said this lease doesn’t fall under PA landlord/tenant cases and to go by PA1901-73 law. This states that landlords (after giving appropriate notice) may take possession, and dispose of tenant’s personal property. The problem I have is that my lease doesn’t include a lien provision (allows landlord to auction off items, etc). Don’t know what action to take.
Month-to-month lease, can be terminated at any time.
Attorney had me issue another 30-day notice.
any tips? I just want this person out of my storage unit and out of my life.
