Does Apartments.com advertise other apartments to your tenants?

I just had one of my tenants tell me that apartments.com hits them with advertisements for other apartments whenever they log in and via email. Can someone confirm this? I will be livid if this is true and will look for an alternative to collect rent electronically. In fact, does anyone have any recommendations for a free service to collect rent electronically? I also use Zillow to collect rent. Super easy to set up. Free if tenant links bank account. I also use Zelle for other tenants
