The shovel-sellers who are selling you the "ringless voicemail" are obviously not that technically adept, because your ringless voicemail marketing MAKES YOUR TARGET'S PHONE RING.

There is one "ring pulse" (I dont know what to call it) so the phone does ring, then the call is dropped and a voicemail is left.

And then the voicemail is scratchy, has breakups and is sometimes unintelligible.

For me, who is often around/on my phone, the call waiting beeps or actual rings, then a dropped call when I try to answer, are giving me the hotpoops.  There's way too many of you guys falling for these marketing services so this is just getting more and more frequent.

Also this is the most (insert slur for a wimpy person without confidence) way of doing business.   For all the postcards, letters, "ringless voicemail", SMS spam and virtual assistants I get calling me, I think I've had ONE real honest person call asking if I was selling, and even though I wasn't,  I talked to him like a normal person and gave some advice about cold calling. I'm not even sure if he was a wholesaler type or just some shmoe hoping for a deal.

Curious though, does this actually work? Is this just going to keep getting worse?
