Too Many Bandit Signs?

Question

I was driving around today farming an area and noticed someone had put out a huge number of bandits signs.  There a 2 bandit signs on nearly every major corner in this area.
I was considering putting my signs out in that area but would there be too many signs or would the other signs just attract more attention to my signs?

I stopped putting up bandit signs in my area.  Last few times I put them up, I got twice as many calls from code enforcement and cops than sellers.

Last time, I actually got calls from 2 different city council people!  Really tells you they got their priorities straight - focusing on real important issues :)

Those signs have proved to be more work than they are worth I think.  Where I live they get taken down by the city withing two or three days.

What kind of message do you use on your signs to set yourself apart?

I run into that from time to time here in Tampa.  There are a lot of investors & wanna be's here.  I've determined that I'm going to do what I'm going to do and who cares what everyone else is doing etc...  In other words if I want to farm that area and another investor has put a bunch of signs out I don't care I put mine there too.  I just go about my business, field calls and make offers.  Chances are the other guy is new and is not very good at negotiating etc...  He may be around for just a while.  The fact that there is someone farming that area already should tell you that it may be a good area.
