Where to buy discount/cheap envelopes, paper, etc?

I am searching for a good source that someone may have found already for high quantity of envelopes. Not the self sealing kind, just the normal #10 with the "lick to seal," v-flap style.  I have found a local mailing and printing company that helps me out. I have a person handwrite hundreds of addresses on the envelope. I pay for 5000-10000 copies of the same letter, and they have a machine that tri-folds, stuffs, and seals the letter for a great price.  Now I am looking for that cheap envelope.  Every company seems to be making the security style that you can't see what's inside.  I actually want the person to see inside the "cheap" envelope.   Amazon has been my most recent source, but there has got to be that good direct mail connection here on BP.
