Contacting Probate Leads by Phone

Is there any benefit to directly calling the probate lawyer and/or next of kin to register your interest in the estate's property instead of sending a yellow letter?

If you do send a letter, is it best to send something other than a yellow letter?

    @Jeff G. Confession: I don't Mail to PR's anymore.

    I've been marketing to attorneys for nearly 30 years and consider myself a member of the legal community, even though I am NOT an attorney.

    As for frequency, there is no magic formula. However, anything more frequently that every 10-14 days with more than three mailings seems a bit desperate to me.

    Put yourself in the shoes of your ideal prospect. How needy are they? My people want yo be left alone until and unless they have a problem. Then, they're often obsessive.

    Go buy a course on direct response marketing. Start with Dan Kennedy's "Magnetic Marketing" (about $300). Spend the darn money; don't be cheap and look for a BP handout.

    Very few will fo this. They will struggle and loose interest.

    If you will do with others will not do, for five (5) years, you can do what others CAN'T do for the rest of your life.
