What info to request for lead list source... Little overwhelmed!

Good Afternoon,

Im looking at listsource to start my most recent mailing. Getting a little overwhelmed. I usually make up my own list from county and town offices.

Im looking at my choices for the list "quick lists" but am also looking at "building my list" not sure what the difference is and if the "quick list" is more specific.

Guess my controlling personality is coming out. Is that type A? LOL

Any input/experience would be greatly appreciated!!!
