Hi BP Community,

I am new to investing and I live in the Chicago Suburbs. I would like to immediately start learning about OOS investing. I would like to connect with other investors and vendors in the area. Let me know if you guys think it is too early for me to begin learning about OOS. I've been analyzing a lot of local deals and I feel like the prices over here are a lot.

Thank you

Hey @Albert Velasquez and welcome!

It sounds like you are drive to make money in real estate. I agree with @Jonathan Klemm that it might be easier to get started in your area. Before you start investing, undertand your WHY. What goals do you want to accomplish?

Its very easy to look at prices and get discourage but connecting with a real estate agent can help you get an idea of the market. Also, start speaking with lenders to help you get an idea of what you need to qualify for a loan if needed.
