Smart to Start Now - Utah Market?

Hello friends! First time here. Just learned about the podcast yesterday. Good stuff! Thanks! 
I've been studying and planning to start real estate investing for several months now. My biggest fear, however, is the HOT Utah housing market. Doesn't seem like a smart time to buy. Is it just my fears taking over or is it a real concern? Anyone from Utah out there...?
