African American First Time Home Buyers

I heard the government/banks is potentially giving grants or funding to African Americans first time home buyers in Atlanta, GA. Just wanted to know if this was true, and if so could so someone please lead me in the in right direction. Im currently in the midst of searching for a potential investment property.
