Investment location ideas
Good morning and thank you all in advance for your input. I'm excited to finally join BP as I've been reading many post here for a while now.
So I'm very new to real estate and have gained some information within the last year. After moving to CA a year and a half ago, I was able to purchase my first property in Banning, CA. Being new to the state, I've noticed that prices are significantly higher than back home (Rhode island). Now that I am in the process of renting out this property I want to invest in another but I'm not sure where. My goal is to acquire a multi or a SFH in an area that will allow for some return (as opposed to breaking even). I'm also considering surrounding states such as Las Vegas, Arizona, or even Oregon. I have about 20k to invest but it seems that will not get me very far here. Any suggestions on good locations for investors in the SoCal or inland empire area?
