Nashville suburb question

I live in the Nashville area and am looking to purchase my first rental property. I was thinking about Madison (37115) and wanted to get some opinions about it. I have a good friend who lives there and enjoys it, but have gotten different feedback from people in the real estate business. If you were to recommend buying there, are there any type of properties you would stay away from? (townhouses, condos, apartments, HOA's, etc?)

Hi @Korey Hodges

Madison is a great location for a rental. I wouldn't rule out any entire class of property, unless you just happen to not like that kind of property, or don't want the hassle of dealing with HOA, for example. Of course, if you are also thinking about living in the property, that's another story. For strictly rental property, it's all about the numbers, as @Jay Dewberry said.
