Title company stinks! Help!
So i closed my first deal. I was originally going to use one title company but the service sucked and the person I was dealing with left. So I used a different title company who did a marvelous job, to close the deal.
I had given the first title company an EMD of $500. I know I know I should never do that with such a large amount but I was excited to close my first deal. Lesson learned! Now they want the seller to send a fax stating that they have no interest in the money and the closing did in fact take place.
Is this right for him to do or should I write the attorney general's office?
