My First Home Purchase

Single-family residence other investment.
Purchase price: $160,000
I purchased a two story home by a military base from a family member for $160,000 but it is worth more. I have owned it for 3 months and I have 230,000 in equity.
What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?
How much it was worth vs what it was sold for. And also being next to a base Im thinking about short term renting, or Air BNB
How did you finance this deal?
with an FHA loan
How did you add value to the deal?
Got insurance involved and use that money to remodel the entire inside, and add a new roof.
