Georgia Tax lien for empty lot
I have reached an agreement with Dekalb County, Georgia to buy the tax deed on an empty lot. The price is ~$14k. The land is worth ~$70k.
Since this is a Deed vs. a lien, I don't need to wait a year before foreclosing, right?
Is the closing process similar to other cash property closures?
Other than clear title, anything else I should be concerned about?
Thanks,
Rick
