My second single family home 🏠

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Crawfordville.

Purchase price: $209,900

This 3/2 single family is one of many new builds in what I believe to be an up and coming city. Proximity to state capital and the beach is about the same.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I got shinny object syndrome and was attracted to purchasing a new build knowing everything is new as I am new into real estate investing.

How did you finance this deal?

VA 0% down with 6.75 rate

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Accepting a 6.75 rate was probably my biggest challenge. It drives me crazy how much of each monthly payment goes to interest alone. I believe this property is a good investment and am motivated to pay down the loan early with additional principle payments.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I had a very pleasant experience from my agent Anil and his wife from Frog realty who I believe is out of Tallahassee.
