Question

Hello Hoosiers! (and nomads)

I wanted to connect with as many of you as possible and find out what your plan is within the Indiana market.

Please tell:

1) What city you live in:

2) What county/city you are working (REI):

3) What you are currently/planning to do in REI:

4) What do you feel would help you in REI today: (ie Private Money, Training, Mentor, etc)

1) My wife and I live in Noblesville.
2) We are looking to primarily work the Hamilton County and Indianapolis markets.
3) We are wholesaling/rehabbing with lead gen through probates and absentee owners. We are also looking to connect private lenders/investors with "opportunities" in the State.
4) I feel like 34hrs in the day would help... Oh! And building onto our network is something that we always try to do!

I'm very interested in connecting with people in the following cities (00:01:25hr or less from where I live): Bloomington, Muncie, Anderson, Lafayette, Kokomo, Lawrence, Columbus, Fishers, Carmel, Greenwood, Marion, Noblesville, West Lafayette, Franklin, Logansport, Plainfield, Westfield, Zionsville, McCordsville, and of course Indianapolis!

Consider attending the local REIA club meetings to build your list.  A call in advance to the president of the REIA will prime the pump for your list.

You might check for any local LinkedIn groups as an additional way to build. If none exists you can start a group.

I'm new to BP and live in Noblesville.  I just posted on the new member introductions.  Just launched an LLC with a business partner.  Wondering if you have a suggestion for a good (and reasonably priced) real estate attorney in this area?

Taylor - I don't think the link to your website in your signature block is working correctly.  I'm down on the southside (Greenwood) and joined BP about a month or so ago.  We turned our primary residence into a rental property about a year ago and are looking to build a portfolio of homes to hold.  I'm in the process of putting together what I need to have this be a serious endeavor.  My initial challenge at the start will be finding the right house and securing appropriate financing. Hi Taylor,

We are colleagues here on BP already, but I'm looking to build my network as well and looking to connect with investors in the Indy area.

I live in Indianapolis and intend to work within Marion and surrounding counties.  I haven't begun yet - but I plan on wholesaling distressed properties initially - and then once I have a capital base, rehabbing and buy and hold, depending on the best exit strategy each property presents.  I am here to network and assist as many local investors as possible, and continue educating myself in REI.

I'm in the Oaklandon/Geist area and within 15 minutes of Noblesville if you would like to get together for lunch or coffee.
