Anyone investing in Connecticut?

Anyone investing in Connecticut? A lot of the deals I look at don't make money based on many of the metrics I read about on BiggerPockets due to the high taxes here. It's hard to find stuff that cash flows or to buy a property below market value enough to do the BRRRR strategy. I'm thinking this is because I am mostly searching on the MLS. I am interested in seeing if anyone else is having success in Connecticut and offer some advice about how they are finding deals. Thanks.

@Jason Boice if you're focusing on higher-end towns then you're not going to get the return you're looking for.  There's always a tradeoff.  If I was you, I'd look back at Waterbury but on the outskirts.  Much higher end areas but prices are still reasonable.  300k for a 4 family that would bring in 4k a month, would def. make a profit.
