Hello everyone. My business partner and I are experienced investors in Southwestern Ontario Canada, but are possibly looking to branch out to Michigan, US. Has anyone here done the same? Can anyone provide any guidance/advice? Thanks!

I've been investing in the US since 2013, specifically Florida and now my company invests throughout numerous States including Michigan. Before making the plunge, I highly advise you to consult with a cross-border tax & legal specialist to determine the best entity structure to use. Then start reaching out to investor-friendly Realtors who have a good Rolodex of contacts including contractors, title companies, property managers, Etc
