Looking for recommendations on successful real estate agents that frequently work with real estate investors, particularly ones who know how to help those with their first purchase! San Antonio area.
Boy, I have to say, in my experience, there are few and far between real estate agents that know how an investor thinks. I had an experienced real estate agent that I bought several properties from in residential and she sold several for me.
But when it came to rental buildings, all she could find for me were properties that were selling so high they would lose money. Finally, I had to drop her after I determined that she did not know enough about rentals.
Your best bet is to call lenders and ask them who the real estate agents are who specialize in this. Then ask to see what they have sold - is it what you are looking for? If not, move on.
In fact, I recommend calling as many agents as you can to spread the word you have CASH and want to spend.
