Hello My name is Desmond Dunn. I am a business broker by trade but I am looking to get into multi family syndication. I wanted to know is there anyone that has knowledge on this subject? It would be a huge help if they were in my market but I am willing to take advise from anyone knowledgeable on the subject.

@Desmond Dunn - I love talking to people about multi family syndications. I have personally invested in over 30 individual deals. There are a few definite rules I follow when evaluating deals, as well as vetting sponsors/GP’s. I will forever preach that there is no such thing as a good deal with a bad sponsor. These deals are a blast to evaluate, seek out, and invest in.

If you would like to discuss further PM me.

Hey @Desmond Dunn Congrats on your success thus far! Taking a good look at the Sponsor's track record and expertise is critical when vetting out GP's. Some helpful questions to ask yourself include but are not limited to: How many deals has the sponsor successfully exited? Have they ever had to call additional capital from investors beyond their initial investment? How many collective years of experience does their leadership team have?

Happy to discuss further via DM if you'd like.

Good Luck!
