Where to sell Nationwide Bird Dog Leads

Question

Hello.  I have a method of coordinating teams of bird dogs all over the country and I end up with lots and lots of vacant house leads I can't do anything with.

I get them from random places all over the country.  I know these are worth something to somebody.

Question is:  How much are they worth, and to whom?  These leads come with property photos, property details and comps...

Chris, I agree with Aaron. Build yourself a real estate business on top of it.

I've worked on software products that people actually paid for and I'll offer some advice.

>> Find out what your customers will actually pay for. There's a lot of literature on the topic, start with Steve Blank's Customer Development. Never assume your're a typical customer.

>> Don't view your software as a competitive advantage. It's not. Based on what you describe a determined competitor could build it in under a month, except (perhaps) for your training content. Figure out what your advantage really is and keep widening your competitive moat.

>> Look for business partners/investors who know something about software as well as real estate. If they're willing to invest to get your product/service off the ground, not only will you have validation that it's a good idea but you'll gain some great business advisors who are motivated to help you succeed. If you're the only one in love with your idea, it's time to pivot.

The plan originally is to lease out geographic religions to investors who already use bird dogs or want to use bird dogs and want an easy painless way of recruiting, training, managing, communicating with and paying them.

I'm onto something.  Problem is, once everything is built and I have my app on the App Store, bird dogs are going to come out of the wood work and leads are going to pour in.

The investor is given the option of paying the bird dog extra to track down seller information, put a door hanger on the house, and take inside photos.

Who wants these leads?  I'll sell them at cost.

a vacant house is a great start but unfortunately unless you've got the direct contact information to the owner and have either made contact with them to gauge motivation, simply having a vacant list around the country isn't that unique...kent clothier has an already established vacant list that's making people a ton of money so in terms of tackling that market you'll really need to have something unique or of massive value to offer in order to get some attention in that space

great start though and i think you've got something cooking with that nationwide bird dog system, you may want to explore that a little further and possibly pivoting yet maintain the nationwide bird dog system...food for thought

I use people and technology. More specifically, I use smartphones to recruit train and manage and pay my bird dogs.

I have some propriatory mobile software that's in development.  During the testing phase I quickly realized I have leads coming in from everywhere.
