Property insurance quotes vary by $1000/yr for same coverage
We are purchasing a property and I’m shopping for insurance. Quotes vary wildly for approximately the same coverage. A USAA quote is $1940 annually, while a Progressive quite obtained through the site Policy Genius is $972 year.
What questions should I ask to understand why these rates are so variable? On the face the coverages are almost the same. Am I missing something? What should I be wary of?
