Preferred Project Management Software?

Hi all! I know there have been a number of discussions around project management software/apps. My question, however, is which program or application have you found that is the simplest in terms of being seamlessly work across multiple devices?

I need a program that will easily allow me to switch from my (mac) laptop to my iPhone, or to my iPad, and I want real-time updates to share with others involved with the project, preferably with push-alerts.

Projects are primarily renovations with fairly long-term timelines and hardfast deadlines, but there are some items that can be done more "at leisure" or which are one time one-and-done type items. Almost everyone I work with are apple users so android compatibility is not a primary consideration.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
