System for Maintenance/Remodel business

My management company manages 2,500 condo units and over 1,000 rental units. We utilize Appfolio and it works great for the management of those units. However, we also run a maintenance and remodel division and are finding that Appfolio does not give much in terms of tools to manage work orders, progress, billing, and accounting. We have been running two systems and will probably have to continue doing that until Appfolio can address our needs.

Given that, what are other maintenance, remodel, or construction companies using for a system to handle the aspects previously mentioned? Is there a solution out there that works well in a construction application that isn't a gigantic ERP like Sage? Would love any feedback the community has on solutions they have found.

Thanks for your help!
