Hi guys n gals. So right to the point. I had the M5 for a while and it was good but it was expensive. I want to hear from members of the BP community. I'm a wholesaler.... new but educated. Has anyone here used investor carrot? Does it work? Leads? SEO meta data ? What about lead propeller? Any feedback about this site for squeeze pages capturing lead data for motivated sellers and cash buyers. Weigh in. Thanks BP folks.

We use Carrot and like it. You will still need paid traffic unless you're just looking for a few good leads per month. When we don't do paid traffic, we still get 1-2 leads per WEEK, but when we do paid ads driving the traffic to our site, we get 1-2 per DAY. But we're spending a lot on paid ads. SEO alone will rank us on page one for most of our markets, but GoogleAds will rank us top 2 in every market we buy. We also use many other paid ads. GoogleAds can get very expensive, but if you do all of the set up correctly, you will get very high quality leads. I would be willing to pay $500+ for a great motivated seller that fits my criteria. I've found that the higher our cost of customer is, the better the leads, the less time we waste. I'd rather have 1 very solid lead per day instead of 10-20 that waste an entire day.
We're running a test now, spending 20k between an investor carrot and lead propeller version of an investor's site. So far we can say there are difference between the two, but the overall conversion rates are similar. Once we're done running the test, there will be more conclusive data to share. You can't go wrong with either one, based on the data we have now. I'm speaking only for Paid traffic directed at the site, not SEO.
that is good feed back for paid traffic Sean. you said its your own site that is similar to investor carrot and lead propeller? is it a self made site?
Hey y’all, I have tried both and must say that Carrot provides better results overall. Also, it is very simple to edit and change your content and there are built in SEO tools to help make your site more searchable. I was on page 1 in a super competitive market and averaged 2-5 hot leads every few days in a Seller’s market. Not to bad.
Matt, that is really good feedback about the InvestorCarrot site that is positive. being on page 1 of a google search is half the battle of just being seen, then the rest is up to you to convert.

@Allan Smith I did the trials on both which gives you limited features to access. Ultimately i just went with Mojo as my dialer and Podio as the CRM and limited my online advertising/ marketing and focused on more calling and direct mail and driving for dollars. Both programs are really good if your focused heavily on online marketing versus other forms of lead generation in my opinion. What about you have you found any advantages with one over another? Anyone else care to chime in on their experiences with these sites?
Relatively new to real estate with an IT consulting / developer background. IMO as somebody who can make it and own it myself, the price and benefits of using carrot or lead propeller is an easy choice. To do it on your own, you would have to hire a designer, developer, content /seo service, etc. Then eventually have to do it again when your site becomes dated. Would be hard press even outsourcing all that for $1500 a year .
SEO wise google could penalize any SEO strategy is the future. When you own it, it is your job to fix vs having a service provider figuring it out.
A good analogy is entry level desktops. Dell can build and ship an entry level desktop cheaper than you can do it yourself.
