Using Google Maps / Some Other Map to Log Drives / Notes?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had done any research into any mapping services that could help track where you have drove for dollars, or logged specific addresses with notes for additional research, homes you want to DM, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start with something like this?

Greg P. I have an app under development that will allow you to do what you are looking for.  It also will allow you to collect addresses while "driving for dollars" and access them with a CSV file for a mail merge.  Additionally, it has the capabilities to let you press a button while in front of a house and send the letter right from your phone.

I decided to have the app developed because of the amount of addresses that are in my car that are never worked.  This ability to press a button and send a letter will make a lot of difference in the amount of marketing I can do.

Wow, @Greg P. "My Maps" works pretty awesome to map out leads and driving for dollars. It would be cool if someone could create something like HomeSnap, RunKeeper (to track driving routes), and Google My Maps and MileIQ all in one, that would be the ultimate real estate tech tool.

Greg P. as for other driving apps, be sure to check out MileIQ if you're not already using it. It runs in the background and tracks all of your business related mileage for your taxes.

If you have a big list of address that you want to quickly put on a map, you can use Google Fusion Tables.

Answered my own question on this, I'm using Google "My Maps" which is free, but pretty powerful.  Allows you to log specific addresses, add pictures to the 'pins' you create, add notes, and also draw shapes (for neighborhood boundaries).

I found it really helpful to lay it all out in there.  Hope it helps someone else.
