I get a lot of negative energy come back at me in the business world and specifically in the Real Estate world. I understand that the world is full of negative people and nothing is going to change that. What I do not understand is what do people hope to accomplish by their comments?

If I send out some texts about a wholesale house and someone feels the need to write back some smart-*** comment, what are they hoping to accomplish? The reality is I am going to get that house sold. It might not be the deal for them, or they might feel they know better or can do better. Fine. I accept that. Why the reply text with a comment? I am long past the point of it hurting my feelings or getting upset but I genuinely am curious as to their train of thought. Do they hope to impress me with their smugness? Do they need to feel better or smarter? Are they just physically not able to resist? I’m curious give me your thoughts.

It's definitely a culmination of your last few points. They have something going on with themselves that makes them feel the need to respond negatively without really thinking it through. Sadly, it's just human nature and lots of people are unwilling to control the urge... oh well...
