Is Cris Chico's Virtual Wholesaling for Real?
I went back a few pages in BP and didn't see any posts on Cris Chico. Does anyone have any input regarding his Virtual Wholesaling program. He's reduced the price the $497 and was wondering if that is worth it or is there a better wholesaling program to buy. I've been focused on assignment of lease options and looking to branch out into wholesaling. I appreciate the feedback!

Used Chico's course in 2009-2010 ($997). For anyone new, it provided a structure with flowcharts, check lists, audio, video, & seminars from others on his criteria. Nothing groundbreaking, but gives you a structure to work with, and options for your marketing campaign. If used by a newbie, then it's cost value differs. A few problems, he doesn't provide any method for how you choose your geographical area to market. He gives a few bad areas to avoid. Learning how to find areas is the ballgame. One definite negative: He has a multitude of other real estate teachers also selling programs. His Webinars are nothing more than someone's product being sold. Sometimes it is even a product indirect conflict with his methodology. He use to preach Direct Mail (postcards, etc), but had another person (most likely a partnership of sorts) that was advocating calling and emails to start as it is much cheaper. Bottom Line: If you know the biz, all info can be found free internet and library, you just need structure. Similar like a TOC in a how-to-book. If you went to Amazon, wanted an expensive book, and you could preview detailed chapters, most the information would be available online or at library in another book. Finding authentic, new material is rare. By the time 99.9% people get it, the market is flooded. Trying new things in your own biz ventures gives you insight and feedback that will lead you to big things. Getting a course, I'd research forums, and read at library first. Then if you are stuck, go get anyone's (Chico's) methodology, and at least you will get started. Although you might stumble, the start-up cost and kit are worth it to get you started, instead of analysis-by-paralysis, which earns you a headache, and becomes a bad habit!!! GL. Like any course, you get what you put into it. If you want to start tomorrow (asap), invest in a course an try. If funds are very tight, research a little, then go for something.
