Freedom mentor asking for 15k retainer

Hey BP, Was just contacted by "freedom mentor" and spoke to an intelligent enough gentle man. I'm eager to get started in investing and would like to have a mentor. 15k seems a little too steep to me right now for a learning process even though I think that yes they have to protect their best interests. I need to protect mine as well. Any feedback would be much appreciated. I'm scheduled to talk to them at 8am tomorrow morning to see if I've been accepted into the program. Thanks, Mark Kudlach jr.

I'm just curious what $15k buys you? Ignorance is certainly more costly than education but you gotta be careful there are a LOT of BS artists out there. 

What specifically are they going to teach you and what resources are they providing?
