Rich Dad Coaching- anyone done it here?
Hello!
We just attended the 3 day Rich Dad real estate seminar.
We, thankfully, did not sign up for the "elite/mentor" courses or anything at all, for that matter. It was just way too much money.
We did however, learn quite a lot for the $299 we spent.
However... there seem to be warring factions between the "elite/mentor" and the rich dad coaching.
The coaching part seems interesting though because... they promise you 1 deal in the agreement and they coach you for 18 months. It has peaked our interest, why? although there are tons of books and I have been looking around here and reading, reading, reading.. I am finding that it is sooo much to wade through that I need to find a way to focus.
I am curious to find out if anyone has signed up for the coaching and not the elite/mentor training?
Thanks!

Hey @Ilona Kovacs
You will find a lot of different opinions on coaching in general on Bigger Pockets.
There has already been much discussion about Rich Dad specifically on the site:

I personally would stay away from it, and do this instead:
-Join your local Real Estate Investors Association ($150)
-Listen to the podcasts, from episode 1 til current, they are an amazing education in and of themselves ($Free)
-Get active on the forums and set up keyword alerts for the areas your interested in.

-Reach out to BP members in your area, offer to buy them lunch and pick their brains ($100)
-Locate an investor focused RE agent in your area and start touring properties with him/her.
-Read the BP guides

and @Brandon Turner and @J Scott 's books ($60 or so)
There is NOTHING they will teach you that you can't learn yourself.
Hope that helps and I wish you great success:)
