Hello Puget Sound.

I had an electrical contracting company a few years back but the partnership went sour and we had to close doors. I went to work for the man, and still am.

I made this thread a while back to help out this community the best I could:

https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/84/topics/183...

I am considering opening up shop again, but at this point I have 3 kids and a mortgage.. so I am trying to drum up enough work to support my family before I quit my job and work for myself.

Ok the rub. Does anyone know of anyone looking for an electricain? I am looking for large projects, but still doable by just myself and an apprentice. New construction is ideal, but large flip projects or rewires will work all the same. I won't be able to do anything for a month or so at best, but I'd love to see what's out there.

Lastly, what's the going hourly rate for a good two man crew these days? I recognize most will do bids, which I prefer as well... but its hard to get a baseline that way.
